About terms


Courses begin in April, July, October, or January and end in March of the following year.
This period is divided into three-month terms.

Academic Preparatory Course
(Academic Preparatory Course I) Students entering in April: 2 years and 0 months of study
(Academic Preparatory Course II) Students entering in July: 1 year and 9 months
(Academic Preparatory Course III) Student entering in October: 1 year and 6 months
(Academic Preparatory Course IV) Student entering in January: 1 year and 3 months

Terms
The number of class days per semester shall be not less than 48 days.
A term generally lasts for 3 months, and students shall be admitted at the beginning of each term. Graduation is in March of the year following the year of enrollment.

Long holidays
(1) Summer holidays: Late July to late August (about 4 weeks) 
(2) Autumn holidays: Early October to mid-October (about 2 weeks) 
(3) Winter holidays: Late December to early January (about 2 weeks) 
(4) Spring holidays: Mid-March to early April (about 2 weeks)

【Morning Session】 Academic Preparatory Course I, II, III, IV 20 hours each (Monday - Friday) 9:15 - 12:40
【Afternoon Session】 Academic Preparatory Course I, II, III, IV 20 hours each (Monday - Friday) 13:30 - 16:55

*There is also study support for "General Subjects", "Mathematics", and "Science" to prepare for the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) for higher education.

Course for Japanese residents

For those who stay on a family visa or work visa, we will learn Japanese from once a week, focusing on Japanese conversation.
